The Giants are ready to get rid of the young, talented, Fred Lewis. Finally. After 4 years of waiting for the young 29 year old left fielder to develop, the Giants brass has seemingly given up. According to various bay area writers, Lewis has been on the trading block but has not garnered any interest from anyone. Surprised?
When asked about his status on the team Lewis replied, " Coach tol me. Freddy, you run. So dat's what I do. I run."
Obviously Lewis has no idea where he is or what he is doing. Lewis hasn't been cut yet, but the firing should be coming soon as Lewis has no more minor league options. It's been a good run Freddy.

Is this true?
ReplyDeleteI think so. There is an article in the bleacher report about it. Also, I read somewhere else that the Giants were shopping Frandsen and Lewis. Frandsen just got shipped off to Boston, so there seems to be some truth to it.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's bad news for Dodgers fans since they'll probably just replace him with someone who can actually catch routine flyballs.
ReplyDeleteFred Lewis traded to Blue Jays......for a washer machine.
ReplyDeleteA washing machine and a sack of marbles. Good value...
